We recently setup two very different aquariums.
My Son's aquarium is a 30ga bio-Cube aquarium with a bunch of very colorful fish (gourami's, molly's and a pleco).
My wife really didn't like Connor's choice of fishes. She really wanted to get some rainbowfish. So we found a 75ga aquarium on craigslist, brought it home and set it up. Its still a work in progress, only having 6 fish in it right now, but growing.
These are pictures of the two aquariums.

Dec 10 Photo Shoot for Connor
Connor's school didn't do pictures this year, so we took him to PortraitSimple in the Natick Mall. They do digital shots, and we purchased the rights to these pictures, so here they are.
We'll pick one, print about 100 of them and send them out in Christmas cards this year.

Halloween
Connor is in Preschool, and about 2 months ago, they started talking about Halloween at school. Connor decided that he wanted to be Mater and the Ghostlight.
Not just Mater, not a Ghostlight, but Mater and the Ghostlight. For those of you who have never watched Pixar's Cars, Mater and the Ghostlight is a short film where Mater (a Tow Truck) is chased by a blue glowing lantern.
How could I possibly make him Mater and the Ghostlight? Well, we went and bought foamboard and poster paints, along with a bit of duct tape, and created a costume with one headlight (working), and a realy bright flashlight for a lantern. Here's the results.
One note - for those of you who want to create something similar... I wish I had taken stairs into account better - getting up and down the stairs was a bit difficult.
What we won't do for our kids.

Pictures from London
Pictures from London.
Well, I've managed to put up our 600 or so pictures that Connor and I took in London over 5 days.
They're organized into several sets in a flickr collection. This should make it easier to sort through all of them.
Over the next couple of days I hope to get around to putting up some videos too, but those will have to wait a while for now.

King Richard's Faire
Connor, Mommy and Daddy went to King Richard's Faire.
Connor continued his horseback riding obsession; this time he wanted to ride the "biggest horse in the forest":

Connor at Davis Farmland on Horseback
The Crandall's and Connor and Dad went to Davis Farmland - a really huge petting zoo in Sterling, MA.
Connor really wanted to ride a pony - and seemed to do pretty well, as you can see in this video:
